First flight will stop several times on the way to Peru. Probably through Amsterdam, London or New York.

First main vist will be Machu Picchu, It is considered to have been built by the Inca Pachacuti around 1440 and was inhabited until the Spanish conquest of Peru 1532nd It is built on a 500 meter high mountain peak, with steep sides to almost every direction. UNESCO World Heritage Site, of course.

Galapagos islands

Galapagos Island. I like to see the Blue-footed Booby which is a “cool” bird that have the natural breeding habitat at the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador. The name booby comes from the Spanish term bobo, which means “stupid” or “fool”/”clown”. The Islands are maybe most known for Charles Darwin’s research that resulted in his theory of natural selection. As the archipelago of 20 islands are so isolated, there where many species live only on these islands so called endemic species.
